We are pleased to present this 1978 Mini SE (Special Edition), totally rebuilt, finished with a new painting in metallic Grey original color over a black/white new vinyl interior. This iconic original Mini I have acquired from its original owner in 2014 in Paris/France. The car comes fitted with a 3 instruments dashboard plus one console with oil pressure, water temperature and voltage gages, LED headlights, four additional driving lights all LED, an upgraded inline 4-cylinder engine with 1180Cc, with new Minilite 10” alloy wheels, fender flares, and a tighter steering rack. This Mini is now being offered for sale by its owner out of Marbella, Spain. It has black hood stripes and a black roof. The seller notes that the finish is perfect without any blemishes throughout. Additional images can be found in the gallery. Additional, a chrome gas filler cap, the wheels come dressed in a set of Yokohama A032R, which are brand new. Seats upholstered in black/white vinyl with black door panels, black carpets and new roof finishing. The floors has been covered with a removable layer sound deadening, as well as butyl sound deadening mats. Power comes from an inline 4-cylinder engine that was rebuilt with 9000km as today. The rebuild included twin HS4 carbs, new valves, springs and guides, pistons, clutch, etc. with RC40 exhaust system .The front wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed manual transmission with a shortened 3.2:1 final drive. Braking is handled by new front disk brakes 10" calipers and the suspension has been upgraded with a coil spring conversion and adjustable dampers, hi-lows and Bilstein shocks. The seller notes that under their care the car has been serviced by Gregorio Ramírez (Goyo), specialist of Mini cars in Jaen/Spain. This Classic Mini is basically new in all aspects with only 9000km (+/-6000 miles)absolutely no corrosion anywhere or any accident. Many pictures from renovation/rebuilt are available as well actual ones. The car has French plates and all documents for registration are available including the original factory manual (French) book among others documents. Representing one generation of the original Mini, this tastefully upgraded and well looked after example is not to be missed!  Selling due to my age and owns another Mini.
